Whether it looks it or not, our team feels as though we’ve come a long way in a short time.  We also recognize that there are still thousands of you waiting for your chance to get in and start using the site.  We haven’t forgotten about you, and plan to release some additional invites soon.  Hang in there.

For those of you that have been in the site (some longer than others), I’d humbly ask that you take a moment to complete a brief survey here.  It will help us understand what’s working, what’s not, how you’re using the site and what’s still missing.  Your insight will only help us prioritize more effectively, so thanks in advance for taking the time.

We’ve got more updates coming soon, a couple of which we’re EXTREMELY excited about, so stay tuned!

JP

Okay…now I’m getting EXTREMELY excited for the updates coming, even though I have NO idea what they are! I love your guys’ updates; they make the site even more awesome that it already is! And…yes, it is already an awesome site for movies and movie lovers. You guys have done an amazingly awesome job here and I’m so glad I got to be one of the first VIP 200! Did I mention the site is awesome and that you guys are the creators of awesomeness! ;)

I just joined today. I’m liking it so far. One thing I wish you or any of the “film diary” sites would do is include showtime information for “want to see” films.

I keep looking for such a service, it seems killer and obvious, but I can’t find one yet.

It’d be so good to be able to quickly log a film you’re interested in, and then be alerted by email or text or whatever when it is available to see in theaters nearby. This could work even for revivals or older films, for cities with rerun theaters or art house theaters. Google Movies has all the data for most of these, could it just be skimmed that way?

    Free idea :P

The only other comment is that I’m looking forward to this becoming more social: both being able to invite people, search for Twitter/FB/GMail contacts, and publish events like “Movie Watched” to timelines like Twitter/FB/GPlus.

Thanks for the feedback Adam! We plan to roll in both showtime information and ticket purchasing into the site at a later time. We’ve got a lot to do before we get there, but it’s on the docket. As far as social connections, we’re almost there. Our next big goal is to get the site open to the public so all your friends can join in the fun.

      Thanks again! Cheers!
